Week 20

The final thing that I put into my website was the bean bag page. I took a bunch of pictures of the bean bag sets and picked the best one and uploaded it to flickr. I also put this picture on my slideshow widget.

Week 19

For this week, I went and set up the fun jumps that are available for rent and posted them on the fun jump page. Just like the tent pictures that I took, I uploaded these pictures on flickr and put them on my widget slide show.

Week 18

What I did for this week was set up more tents and took pictures of them to post on the site. I also gathered all of the pictures that I took, uploaded them on to flickr, put them into a set and then pasted the link onto my widget slide show so now there are more pictures on the slide show.

Week 17

For week 17, I messes around with the code some more and I changed the font of the title and the slogan. The Title is Times new roman and the slogan is comic sans. Also, when you click on a page, the title of the page is just a black outline of the word.

Week 16

What I did for week 16 was change the border back ground to a darker blue and I changed the main page back ground to yellow. These colors seem to go well with the site. In order to change this, I had to spend a lot of time messing around with the codes

Week 14

What I did for this weeks change is I completely took off the posts because I don't want this site to have posts; pages are perfect. Anyways I downloaded a bunch of pictures onto a flickr account and made a slideshow that comes up on the main page. I also fixed the tent in the header to fit perfectly. I am extremely happy with the way that this worked out.

Week 13

What I have added this week to my website is a side bar widget that shows all my pages. Each page is a link to its specific page. What I want to do next is figure out how to take out the meta side bar, fix my header, take out the search bar, and add a slideshow widget.

Week 15

I'm pretty sure that this word press site works the best for what the company has to offer. I really like how the pages line up on top and how I only have one post that shows up on the home page. I want to add links for my pages on the side and I would also like to add a slideshow widget.

Week 12

This is the beginning stages of the website. I have chosen this word press template because I think it will work well with the content that the company has to offer. Pictures will be able to be displayed very well and I think that people will be able to navigate the site very easily and be able to see what they want with no problems.

Week 11

The VAC Lounge

The VAC is Saint Xavier Universities Art Gallery located on 104th and Spaulding Rd. The VAC was transformed from a church to the Visual Art Center for Saint Xavier. The VAC has multiple floors including a basement. Most church basements are creepy, but this transformed basement is now extremely modern and very comfortable for everyone to go in.

The basement in the VAC is mostly composed of a lounge. The lounge is a great place for students to lounge around, do homework, take a nap, or even make food. The lounge has a very comfortable couch, a table that seats 6 and a counter top that seats 3. On the side of the counter that you can't see, there is a fridge, a sink, a microwave, a vending machine and a pop machine. Both the vending machine and the pop machine have very reasonable prices. This lounge is a great place to go to if you are looking for some peace and quiet.

Week 8

I created this website in photoshop and made iframes in dreamweaver. The words at the top are all links to their specific page and the entire cross is also a link that brings you to the welcome page.

Week 5

I created this html page in dreamweaver. I used 2 columns and 3 rows. The columns describe my websites and the rows give a picture link to each one of my t
hree websites. There are two ways to get to each website, one way by clicking on a picture and the other one is by clicking on the text links. I got the colors from the page properties window and pretty much used multiple shades of grey. I chose grey because it is a very neutral color and I didn't want to take too much of a risk of making it too colorful and looking bad.

So this is the same thing as above but I made it less boring. I chose these colors because the final product will have nothing to do with me and it will all have to do with the business that my father owns which is a rental company. I also made a header which is the company's name. I did this through photoshop.

Week 3

This was my next website. The whole site is about my dog and the tricks that I have taught him.

Week2

I really spent a lot of time working on my website. The slate that I used was just black. I chose black because I really like the color and it doesn't have distractions like some of the other slates. I took pictures off of my girlfriends camera and put them onto my computer. After that, I plugged in an empty flash drive and put the pictures that I wanted onto the flash drive. After I did that, I dragged the pictures off of the flash drive onto the iweb page, then deleted the pictures off of the flash drive so I wouldn't get confused with all the pictures. The theme that my website is based on is how great my Christmas break was. I have 6 pages on my website starting from Christmas all the way through the first week of school.
